Social Democrat Party

The Social Democratic Party (S), (SD) or (SDP), officially The Party of Workers - The Social Democrats, is a political party. It was founded on 8 June 2026 UTC by Rythersbee and MrNeighbor.

Policies

The SDP supports a welfare state with universal healthcare, tuition-free public university, public housing and food and universal basic income. It believes in protecting the right to unionise and giving tax benefits to worker co-ops, in addition to progressive taxation. It advocates for walkable cities and establishing a free national park.<ref>"Policies"</ref>

Leadership

The Social Democratic Party is led by two Co-Chairs and a Central Council elected by the parties members. As of July 30th 2026, the Central Council has the following members:

The Co-Chairs of the SDP are selected by the Central Council. The Current Co-Chairs, as of August 18th, 2026, are MrNeighbor and AverageAnnika.
