Newport or The Federal Republic of Newport; is the constituent country of DistrictRP, it is made up of a central island and several other smaller islands which surround the main central island, it's currency is the Florin and it was founded on the 1st of July 2026.
Governance
The political system of Newport can be described as semi-presidential, with a President and a National Assembly which is led by the Chancellor.
The executive is made up of Ministries such as:
- The Ministry of Administration and Finance
- The Ministry of Culture and Welfare
- The Ministry of Law Enforcement
- The Ministry of Federal Development
Each ministry has its own Minister and Secretaries (heads of department), Ministers are appointed by the President on the advice of the Chancellor.
