The '''Ministry of Law Enforcement''' (abbreviated '''MLE''') is a ministry of the Federal Republic of Newport. The ministry is headed by the Minister of Law Enforcement as a member of the Cabinet of Newport.

The current minister is [[DK3458]]. They were appointed by [[President of Newport|President]] [[Talion77]] on July 21st, 2026.

== History ==
The ministry was first formed when President Talion77 provided his assent to the Ministries Act on July 21 2026. Not long after, he appointed DK3458 as the first Minister of Law Enforcement.

== Responsibilities ==
The Ministries Act tasks the ministry with the following responsibilities:

* Conducting policing of the Realm and its territories inline with Federal law.
* Criminally prosecuting entities for violations of Federal Law.
* Defending the realm in lawsuits against it.
* Handling the investigation of crimes inline with Court orders.
