The Ministry of Federal Development (abbreviated MFD) is a ministry of the Federal Republic of Newport. The ministry is headed by the Minister of Federal Development as a member of the Cabinet of Newport.
The current minister is KattoDE. He was appointed by President Talion77 on July 21 2026.
History
The ministry was first formed when President Talion77 provided his assent to the Ministries Act on July 21 2026. Not long after, he appointed KattoDE as the first Minister of Federal Development.
Responsibilities
The Ministries Act tasks the ministry with the following responsibilities:
- Maintenance and construction of buildings and infrastructure in Federally managed territories.
- Conducting pastes, both public and private.
- Conducting maintenance and construction of buildings and infrastructure in districts upon request of the District’s Government.
Structure
The ministry contains a single subdepartment, the Subdepartment of Construction.
